What do you love about the Liesbeek?
That it runs through the green space in my ‘hood and provides a breathing space for humans as well as habitat for plants, insects, birds and animals. It’s magic!
Relevance (value) to FoL?
I co-ordinate the monthly community clean-ups in the Obs section and occasionally put together the newsletter. l am just someone who loves her community and just likes to get things done!
What is your vision for the liesbeek?
I would like it to be a deeply valued, by residents, visitors and the powers-that-be, clean, semi-wilded urban river valley & green space for all!
