Pollution Alert Monday 06/08/2012
Silty effluent has been spotted entering the Liesbeek River via stormwater drains venting under Paradise Road Bridge in Newlands.
We need to find its source and ask residents or passerbys to keep a lookout for the source of this pollution. It could be household, industrial or building waste water that is entering the stormwater drain in the Newlands/ Hiddingh area.
Please let us know and take a photo if you spot anything!
