Support Friends of the Liesbeek
There are many ways to support the Friends of The Liesbeek, and every one of them helps keep this vital green corridor healthy and thriving. You can make a donation to fund our ongoing rehabilitation work, or become a member and join a dedicated community of people who care about the river’s future. Roll up your sleeves at one of our regular clean-ups, come along to a public event to learn more about The Liesbeek’s ecology and history, or simply help us spread the word.
Whatever you choose, you become part of a growing network of river stewards working to protect The Liesbeek for the generations who will inherit it.
To support our cause with MyDifference, follow these steps:
- 1 Join MyDifference Download the MyDifference app from Woolworths and sign up. You can support up to 3 causes without any additional cost.
- 2 Select Your Cause Open the app, go to the Loyalty hub, and tap on 'Causes'. Search for and select The Friends of the Liesbeek as your chosen cause.
- 3 Scan Your Card Every time you shop at Woolworths, scan your MyDifference card at the till to donate a percentage of your purchase to your selected cause.
