WATER WEEK WALK

Join us on Wednesday 19 March 2008 at 5.45pm in Winchester Road, Bishopscourt below the Good Shepherd Church

Bring family & friends & some refreshments and we’ll walk and talk our way down river to Paradise Park.

Thereafter we’ll enjoy our refreshments at the Riverine Park off Upper Noreen Avenue.

Limited return transport will be available.

Dogs with poopscoops welcome.

A reader, Bas sent us these pictures of the river running blue.

Bas says “I took the attached photo’s of the Liesbeek at the Belmont road bridge on 7 February 2008 at 18:15h. The river was coloured blue with some form of pollution (paint?) that afternoon.” (more…)
